2011 is done

2011 was a great year for Martins Materials, LLC. We had quite a few loads come into our dumpsites and even a little loader work, demolition, and clearing to round things out. The largest dumpsite in Dumfries, VA is now completed and grass is growing. Thanks to all of my customers for making 2011 a successful year. Looking forward to 2012.

From the past...1974 ish!!!!

This was one of my first job's as a Superintendent. We widened Rt. 28 from Liberia Ave. to Old Town Manassas back in 1973-1974.

Post Irene and TS Lee

Everything held up surprisely well despite the 15" of rain we had out of the 2 storms. Almost ready for seed and mulch if the incoming rain holds off.

Saturday morning demolition

I demolished this house in Triangle for a friend of mine last weekend. 4 hours and 4 roll-off's later......DONE.

Fuel tank removal for cleaning

To clean out a fuel tank on a 943 Caterpillar loader , one must first raise the cab and the bucket.

A rather large job, but tank came out, is now cleaned and back to work.

After all of the rains we had for the last few months , this is what a mess one spot was at one of my dumpsites.
