Dirt Update for mid-June

I am currently looking for disposal sites in Prince William & Fairfax counties.

I have..........3,000 cubic yards of dirt, rock mix in Centreville

1,000 cubic yards of clay, topsoil mix in Hybla Valley / Mount Vernon

1,000 cubic yards of all rock in McLean

Large quantites of leftover screenings (rocks, roots, clods, etc.) in Gainesville

2,000 cubic yards of very wet dirt in Reston

5,000 cubic yards of mixed clay / topsoil in Manassas

3,000 cubic yards of clay in Fort Belvoir

I also have access to large quantities of structural fill dirt in Arlington and Tysons Corner.

BEFORE

This customer in Brentsville, VA, wanted the trees taken out of this deep ravine and filled in with dirt so it would be usable as a pasture. I filled it in with almost 800 loads of fill dirt, dressed it off and he seeded and mulched. He added a nice fence later and has horses using it daily now.

Recent golf course project in Lorton, Virginia

For the past couple of years, I have supplied Pohick Bay Regional Golf Course with fill dirt to build berms along #8 and #18 fairways. I trucked in the material and graded it, dressed it down and added their leaf mulch to the finished product. These berms separate the beautiful fairways from the less desirable areas of the surrounding land.

Old frog pond

The current dumpsite I'm working on had an old frog pond that had growm over and was a very unusable space. The owner's horses would not go in there and it was definitely an eyesore. I took the surrounding trees, bushes, etc. and buried them in the middle ..........

.....and covered it with onsite dirt. By grading this out it makes for a very usable pasture and enhances the property.

AFTER

........and gives a much better view from the entrance driveway and the house of Bull Run Mountain in the distance.

Ponds & pipe installation
